Private Field Mentorship

Private field mentorship is designed for photographers who want to move beyond technique and focus on vision, atmosphere, and artistic intent while working directly on location. These experiences are not structured as traditional group workshops. They are conceived as a shared exploration of light, landscape, and narrative, where observation and interpretation matter more than producing a checklist of images.

Mentorship is available as one-to-one experiences or very small groups, with a maximum of two to three participants.

This allows for a slower pace, open discussion, and a more personal approach to both shooting and visual interpretation. During the mentorship, we focus on:

  • reading the landscape and the light

  • building images with mood and depth

  • compositional choices driven by intent

  • understanding why an image works, not just how

  • post-processing and image development, with dedicated time for editing and discussion

Field mentorship takes place between Northern Italy and Southern France, in the same regions where much of my work has been created over the years. Locations are carefully selected and discussed in advance, based on season, conditions, and individual goals. Most sessions are scheduled during specific periods of the year and take place in remote or lesser-traveled areas. Each experience is tailored to the participant’s level, background, and artistic direction.

1-to-1 Online Editing Sessions

One-to-one online sessions are designed for photographers who want focused, practical feedback while working directly on their own images.

These sessions are not pre-recorded lessons.
They are live, interactive meetings where we work together on image development, discussing choices, direction and workflow in real time.

Sessions can focus on:

  • fine-art post-processing

  • mood, atmosphere and color grading

  • visual coherence across a body of work

  • workflow refinement

  • project-oriented image development

  • integrating photography and digital manipulation in a controlled, intentional way

Editing sessions are conducted via Teams  using screen sharing to allow for a clear and direct exchange. Lessons are recorded and sent to the customer as digital download

Details:

  • One-to-one live session

  • Duration: 60 minutes

  • Fee: 120 €

Portfolio Review

A portfolio review is not about ranking images or judging technical quality in isolation.
It is about understanding the coherence, intent and direction of a body of work.

For this reason, prior image submission is mandatory.

The review focuses on:

  • visual consistency and narrative flow

  • strengths and recurring patterns

  • elements that weaken the overall portfolio

  • clarity of artistic direction

  • practical suggestions for long-term development

  • future direction and next steps

⏳ Delivery time: approximately 7–10 working days

Important Notes

  • Image submission is required before any portfolio review.
